Chili sin carne

Chili sin carne is a vegetarian version of the well-known Mexican dish chili con carne. Pulled Oats® works well in this dish, too!

  • 1 pack of Pulled Oats® Mexico
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tin crushed tomato +
  • 1 tin of water
  • 1 veg stock cube
  • 1 tin kidney beans
  • 1 tin corn
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder
  • Salt
  • black pepper
  • Lime
  • crème fraiche
  • Bunch of fresh coriander


  1. Chop the onion and garlic. Cook in oil over a medium-high heat for 3-5 minutes or until the onions are golden. Add the cumin, paprika, cocoa and vinegar. Pour in the beans, corn, crushed tomato and vegetable stock. Simmer until soft. Mix in the Pulled Oats®. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Serve with some steamed basmati rice or nachos. Garnish with creme fraiche, lime and coriander.
