MACARONI CASSEROLE

This traditional Finnish everyday dish tastes great to everybody, regardless of their age. With this recipe, it is also easy to fool the most convinced carnivores!

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of Pulled Oats® Nude
  • 5 dl macaroni
  • 1 dl roasted onion
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • ½ tsp white pepper
  • 1½ tsp herb salt
  • 1 l milk
  • 2 eggs
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 3 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C.
  2. Season the Pulled Oats® with white pepper and bell pepper.
  3. Mix the eggs with milk and season with herb salt. Pour all the ingredients into a buttered casserole dish and mix. Sprinkle breadcrumbs and knobs of butter on top. Bake for 30–40 minutes.
  4. Serve the macaroni casserole with some fresh salad on the side – and in the Finnish way with some ketchup, if you like.
