Explanation

The calculations are based on the assumption that you should get the same amount of protein from the meat as you would from the Pulled Oats®. The protein content of meat products varies greatly from one individual animal to another and also depends on the cut of meat. In this comparison, we’ve tried to select cuts of meat that are as close to the most common uses of Pulled Oats® as possible.

The recommended protein intake per kilogram of body weight is: 1.1–1.3 g/kg for adults between 18–64 and a little bit less for kids. But it’s not only the amount of protein that matters, it’s also the composition of the amino acids. Pulled Oats® delivers the amount of amino acids you need faster than meat. Explanation

Your water footprint is the amount of water consumed in the production of the products you consume. It’s expressed as the volume of water consumed per unit of product. In the case of food, for example, the unit used is often liters per kilogram (l/kg). So your water footprint includes the amount of water consumed in the production of the raw materials and manufacturing of the products you consume.

The calculations are based on the assumption that you should get the same amount of protein from the meat as you would from the Pulled Oats®.
