GOLD&GREEN BRUNCH BEVERAGES
Turmeric, that's used in this Gold Tea recipe, has a unique flavour that some love and some hate, but in addition to its charming golden colour, it has many health beneftis. Green Smoothie, then again, is a simple and tasty green drink and a great pick-me-up during the day. Add more ginger for an extra kick!
Ingredients
GOLD TEA
- 1 l of boiled water
- 2 tsp fresh turmeric or
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- Fresh ginger sliced into pieces
- Juice of ½ lemon
- Honey
- Black pepper
GREEN SMOOTHIE
- 1 l unfiltered apple juice
- 3 cm fresh ginger
- 100 g fresh spinach
- 1 avocado
- Juice of ½ lemon
- Fresh mint
Instructions
GOLD TEA
- Simmer and enjoy. A pinch of black pepper helps to absorb the beneficial effects of the turmeric.
GREEN SMOOTHIE
- Blend all the ingredients in a blender until smooth and creamy.
