Pulled Oats® Shepherd’s Pie

Ingredients

  • 20x30 cm pan
  • 240 g Pulled Oats® Nude or Tomato
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 170 g tomato sauce
  • 3 tbsp Worcester sauce
  • 3 tbsp HP sauce
  • 3 tbsp BBQ sauce
  • Salt & black pepper
  • A star anise
  • 1 medium-size cauliflower
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 dl crème fraîche
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 30 g butter
  • Freshly grated parmesan
  • Fresh thyme

Instructions

  1. Sauté finely chopped onion and garlic in oil.
  2. Add Pulled Oats®, tomato puree, sauces and star anise. Let simmer for 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and remove the star anise.
  3. Cook the cauliflower in a small amount of lightly salted water for 15 minutes, puree with a hand blender and add the crème fraîche, nutmeg and butter.
  4. Place Pulled Oats® sauce in a pan and pour over a flat layer of cauliflower puree and grated parmesan to taste.
  5. Bake in a 180 ° C oven for 45 minutes. Garnish with fresh thyme.
