Spinach Waffles are incredibly delicious! They’re suitable for every meal of the day – even a snack. These green waffles bring a nice change and new flavour to the traditional version.
- 240 g Pulled Oats® Nude
- 3 dl baby spinach
- 3 dl oat milk
- 2½ dl spelt flour
- 2 tbsp chia seeds (+ 6 tbsp water)
- 4 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- Mix chia seeds and water in a separate bowl. Let sit for 5 minutes.
- Mix all the ingredients with a food processor or a blender until smooth.
- Heat up the waffle iron and put half a teaspoon of coconut oil on it before frying. When the iron is hot, pour a little less than a decilitre of batter. Cook the waffles a bit longer than usual to make them crispy on the outside and to cook them through.
You can eat the waffles as such or serve them with avocado, cucumber, and coconut yoghurt. Season with lemon and herbs!
