COLABURGERS

Ingredients
- 175 g of Pulled Oats® Tomato
- 3 large buns or pita bread
- 1/2 cucumber
- small head Salad
SAUCE
- 2 shallots
- 3 garlic cloves
- 25 ml sweet chili sauce
- 1 tsp Sambal Oelek chili sauce
- 1½ tbsp tomato purée
- 1 tbsp molasses
- 1 tbsp BBQ sauce or ketchup
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 200 ml cola drink
- ½ tsp smoked salt or salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- oil for frying
SIDE DISH
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- oil
- salt
- black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 225°C.
- Sauté the finely chopped garlic cloves and shallots in a pan with oil. Add the rest of the sauce ingredients and simmer for about 45 minutes. When the sauce has thickened, add the Pulled Oats® and heat the mixture.
- Cut the sweet potatoes into sticks and place on baking paper on an oven tray. Season and mix. Bake for 20–30 minutes, turning halfway through the cooking time.
- Fill the bread with the Pulled Oats®, cucumber slices and salad.
